Wired News put a pretty negative spin on the event, in terms of disparity between the children of celebrities (who got to keep the equipment they used) and the children from nearby public schools (who had to turn the equipment they used over to their schools).

There's no mention of who got to take home what on Apple's site, but if Wired is correct, I'm very disappointed in Apple.

What's your take on this?
