Jennifer Connelly as Trillian........What a GREAT idea!!! I am having second thoughts about Dave Foley as well(as Ford).

I forget who suggested SEINFELD but that is a horrible idea. I was a huge fan of his show but as an actor, Jerry has about as much range as a HUMVEE on an empty tank !!!

I also rescind my Hugh Grant suggestions. He is a solid actor but fits neither Aurthur nor Ford's true profile.

We have to include the talents of Monty Python. If the movie carries into Milliways then I suggest Terry Jones as Slartibartfast and either Michael Palin, Eric Idle, or John Cleese as the MC at T-R-A-T-E-O-T-U.

I notice that not one challenge or alternate suggestion has been offered for my nomination of John Goodman as Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz. Are we all agreed that he is the FATASS for the part?

Is anyone else excited about the computer generated possibilities for the film's visual representation of Ford and Aurthur's acid-like visions during their initiation with the Infinite Improbability Drive?
