So, in what class are writing this paper? Is this like a high-school thing or a college literature class? If you can be a little more specific about the assignment you were given, perhaps some of us can give you thesis suggestions. I remember having to write essays on plot elements, on such odd things as how every time Sam Spade lit a cigarette in The Maltese Falcon, somebody got shot, and how Dashel Hammet used foreshadowing, etc...
