A.A. Reed wonders if DNA objects to abovementioned , I doubt he would as the picture of Marvin can be found in 'The Illustrated Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' on page 44 (although it has been mirrored on web page in question) .. the pic of the prototype guide is very very very similar to the pic on page 30 of the abovementioned book (to me it looks as if the photos were taken a couple of seconds apart as the Arthur's thumb is in a slightly different position) , which probably means that someone associated with the Illustrated guide was the person responsible for the info sent to CA.
