I was also nominated for a Grammy for my taped reading of Hitchhiker, but was beaten by Katherine Hepburn, which is an honour in itself. If you count awards for sheer sales figures, then I got a Golden Pan from my British publisher for each of the first three hhgg books, signifying over a million copies of each.
