"Nothing like the TV series" refers to quality, production values etc. Also, as it happens, because we are moving from TV to film, from London to Hollywood, and from 1980 to 2000, there will probably be none of the same people involved.

However, the Guide will be well-represented in the film. Not quite as fully as it was in the TV where we continually stopped the action to consult it, but I intend that it will be a real highlight of the film.
