I bought the first one to see if it would work yet as something to read to my daughter or if she was still too young. I read straight through it and then read the other two as well. I enjoyed them hugely - though it meant I had to change the name of a character in a story I'd been working on for a while. (And I still haven't settled on a new one yet). I think they're terrific. And now, a few months later, I have started reading the first one to my daughter. She loved it up to roughly a third of the way in and then suddenly went off it. I'm not quite certain what it was that spooked her. I'm sure we'll get back to it before long. <Prev Next>
