As has probably been stated before...being good at something, whether writing novels, leading the nation, etc., doesn't mean you'll always be gifted at talking to people. Especially when everybody perceives other famous people as special, no matter how ordinary yet famous they themselves may be.

Having your work appreciated doesn't change you in terms of interaction. Well, much. No freebies, certainly. But we continue to assume specialness...
