ok, now that i've thought about it a bit, mike myers and dana carvey are possibly the worst possible choices to portray zaphod. but jim carrey? the man's a genius and would do ford proud. of course i'm not suggesting any ace ventura or dumb and dumber type of humour, but rather something more serious, as in the cable guy (the most underrated movie of all time). as for all the spoof or theme ideas for the movie, are you crazy? why would you want to disgrace the guide by implying that it needs help from other sci-fi movies to be entertaining? star trek and red dwarf have there place and it is not in this movie!
