Curious. There isn't much in the first book when it comes to "filmic content". The way I had it figured, the movie would more or less breeze through the first book and really cook in the second finishing off with that excellent ending of any story I've ever read or heard of with Ford and Arthur walking away on primitive earth... Really perfect and how I imagined the movie. Ah well, that's why I spend 91% of my time in a fantasy world.
