Slattery certainly is a darn funny guy, but he's, well, not a very big guy. I wouldn't have a problem with it, because hey, he's funny, but whenever I think of novel-to-book, I like to think of being as close to exact as possible... Oliver Platt isn't big, either, I don't guess, but I think he'd be really a good choice, too.
I always thought John Candy would be pretty good, too (even though I was never a really big fan of the man), but unless someone wants to spend a lot of time with a computer and some old John Candy reels, that doesn't really matter, does it?
