I listened to episode 1 at home, and I did notice the annoying "hum" in the background, but yesterday I listened to episode 2 at work during my lunch, and it was crystal clear. Perhaps it's because of the higher speed (T1) connection, or perhaps they re-encoded the episodes after getting complaints about the quality.
