Lemurs are soft, depending on the species. Ringtailed have slightly more wiry fur than some of the others (Don't ask me how I know that) I know that because my mom was a zoo docent for a time. That's how I got this one nasty scar from a kinkajou on my face. Her name was Karla the Kinkajou, and she was really sweet, but she had claws like something that has really big claws. I was five, and feeding her grapes....

I'm sorry, I'm blithering on again. But it is a true story.
