I think what Mr. Adams meant by "ill-fated" was that the version he was working on at that time ended up being dropped or just plain not what he was looking for. Of course, that's my opinion.

I think what this site needs is a Movie Status Page. Just a simple "yea, we're working on it" or "no, we've given up", or how far along it is so far. Doesn't need to be anything fancy (of course I'd "settle" for that too).
