Drat... got off topic and the wrong question gets answered.... wait a minute - I see a pattern here... :-P

Anyways, I realized that Arthur didn't actually LIVE in Islington - but I'd heard that there WAS a pub in Islington called the Horse and Groom - and that was the name used in the book... hey, so it was a decidedly tourist-y moment when I decided to pursue that derailed train of thought. Thanks anyways!

Hope I can get back to London sometime to continue my exploration of the area someday - we went from London to Paris; a more ghastly transition I can't imagine; including if we'd gone straight back to Los Angeles! Ah, well... Take care, and thanks!
