Amazing. I'd always suspected you, DNA, of atheism, but never had any proof.

After reading that interview, the similarities to my own "conversion" are numerous.

I too was a born-again in my teens, working at my church in my free time and even helping with Sunday services.

But late in high school began to question things. Once in college I realized the silliness in believing in a supreme being. Why should I have to report to anyone, I asked myself, much less someone who's never even spoken to me or given me any evidence to trust them. From there is was easy to move from light agnosticism to heavy atheism and now not even thinking about it all that much.

Anyway, it's good to hear you've had an easy go of it. Here in the states (especially in the south where I am) I dare not tell anyone how I believe (or dis-believe) for fear of being burnt at the stake for heresy.
