    My condolences to Mr. Adams' wife, daughter, family and friends. And fans. Those of us who loved his work are truly sad today and wish this weren't so. I adored his Hitch Hikers series and found them more than funny, but also profound.

    Thank you Mr. Adams! You are missed, and the world is a lesser place for your loss.
