Subject: Afterlife ( 1 of 1 ) Posted by Claudiu Popa It seems to be the end of an era. The news of Douglas Adams' death hit hard, especially judging from the jolt in popularity of this site. How do we say goodbye to a spirit whose personality and sense of humor pleasantly and helped to permanently alter our own? "In those days spirits were brave, the stakes were high, men were REAL men, women were REAL women, and small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri were REAL small furry creatures from Aplha Centauri." The quotations go on and on, but it is indeed a sad day for everyone and our thoughts and condolences go to those closest to him, his wife and daughter. Unlike Arthur, we hope for an afterlife and preferably one with Internet access to keep his active mind occupied for eternity. We miss you already, Douglas. |
