Subject: Laugh? I almost died! ( 1 of 1 ) Posted by munchiehk When I was an angsty teen, fretting over life, the universe and everything, I came within a hair of topping myself a number of times. Douglas Adams showed me a universe just as feasible as the one which distressed me so, but a damn sight funnier. I don't know if his books saved my life, but at the very least they made it bearable, and helped me to avoid being consumed by my own self pity. Thank you Mr. Adams, see you at the end of the Universe. |
