Subject: Thank-you Douglas ( 1 of 1 ) Posted by Matt Just to say that Douglas will always be very dear to my heart. I grew up watching, listening to and reading his work and was a great fan of the variety of his wonderful creations. I interviewed Douglas a couple of years ago and he seemed very full of life and besotted with his family. We spoke briefly about his daughter in particular. My best wishes - as well as those of all fans of wonderful British writers worldwide - go out to those he leaves. Let's hope his last work - the interminably obstacled movie of Hitchhiker - can be brought to completion for his sake. Very best wishes, thanks and condolences, Matt |
