Subject: From now on, we'll only have life to laugh at. ( 1 of 1 ) Posted by Paul Cuff Until I read the "Guide", there wasn't much that could surprise me in literature. Then, "IT" came into my life, followed by the radio program, and then the videos. I have no idea where Douglas Adams found the imagination to write those books, but our world will be a bit less user-friendly now. From this day forth, we'll have to watch life carefully, to make sure we see the things that Mr. Adams would have seen, and so we can recognise them for what they are. The simple, trivial events that make up lives full of joy and wonder. We won't have Douglas to show them to us anymore. We'll miss you dearly, Douglas. Love and peace go with you, thanks for all the joy. |
