He's the producer. The reason that Caravan 'is no more' is that it has now grown into a much bigger company and has been renamed Spyglass. Spyglass has new investors and a much wider scope that Caravan. Once again - Roger Birnbaum is the producer of this movie. He was not in any way, shape or form, involved in the BBC TV series down nearly twenty years ago. Neither was anybody else involved in the movie. But just in case there's any lingering doubt...
