Just when I was starting to get better, you bring that up ...

It's not like I have a brain the size of a planet. How can I be expected to cope with such a crushing load of depressing possibilities?

The boring drudgery that is Marvin's so-called life now comes oozing out of the black void in the farthest reaches of my mind where he was banished. If I wasn't already virtually catatonic from this mind-numbing assault, I might cry.

But you will cheerfully carry on willy-nilly, left foot/right foot, as if there was no tomorrow; caring little of the creeping, black slow death you have unleashed on me.
