( 2 of 7 ) Posted by Dirk Gently Having dallied seperately with both guitars and MIDI, I've often wondered if MIDI guitar controllers are any good. Are they? There are things you can play on a guitar that are a nightmare to sequence manually like, for example, the blues lick that involves bending a note into harmony with a steady note. You'd have to play each note through seperate channels wouldn't you? How would the controller sort that out, a seperate channel for each string? I can see that I'll have to have a go one day though.
