You were beside me at the counter a month or so ago - I did the double-take thing that you do with celebrities - particularly ones whose books you have read, but I didn't say anything.

Besides, I didn't have anything to ask you to sign?

But should I have said 'Hello'? I'm tortured. Half of me says yes and half says no.

And by the way, what is it that you like about Sheryl Crow? ;)
