I'm not sure if this is the info that you need..but...
Years ago I bought a 6 CD box of the HHGTTG BBC radio
broadcasts.
They are still available as far as I know.
Heres some details
ID No. BBC CD 6001
Copyright 1988 BBC Enterprises Ltd.
There are 12 episodes with,
episode one's first broadcast on 15th March 1978.

I hope this helps in some way.
