But it's a proven fact (documented in 'The Fantasticks,' no less), that if you tell someone not to do something, they will want to do it all the more. Conversely, telling them to do something (or even taking it to the point of having it expected of 'em) will turn them off to the idea completely.

If that's true, then we'd fare better to say that we actually demand '42' sightings. Then again, some wise-ass might go against the reverse psychology, and then we're back to where we started.

However, as I'm the daughter of an engineer, I could be hired for a small fee to run around to certain domiciles and wire the '4' and '2' buttons on certain keyboards to supply the operator with a heavy dose of electroshock if pressed in the correct sequence. Am I hired?
