I have nothing against idols (you are talking to someone who actually shook Barry Cryer's hand in 1978!), I think my feelings are best summed up by referring back to one of the books: do you recall how the two hitch-hikers felt when they went to visit the office of the HHGTTG in 'The Restaurant at the End of the Universe'? Well, that sums up my feelings exactly.
