I cannot begin to imagine the grief of losing a child - as a parent, the very thought holds the greatest of horrors for me, so I offer you my greatest condolences.

As for 'near-death-experiences', I have no information at all. I don't know what happens in the brain as it ceases to function. As far as 'spiritual' or 'mystical' accounts of what happens are concerned, however, I have the most profound scepticism.
