I have to go with the obvious. Pink Floyd. Look at the range of styles, from the late 60's stuff -Piper @ the Gates of Dawn, Saucerful of Secrets etc- thru' their wierd mid 70's bits - who could forget the fantastic Ummagumma (one of the worlds best albums!!) and Animals- thru to the 80's ballads and their highly cerebral Momentary Lapse of Reason from 1987 (was it really 1987!!??)
They have covered a wide wide range of styles, moving not with the times, but having the times move with the Floyd. I know there have been 1 or 2 line up amendments, but hey, lets face it.....

Floyd Live. Long live the Floyd.
And with DNA's conections, surely, just surely, there must be more than a slim chance.

Just hope the Yanks make a good choice with their money.
