Personally, I don't think the soundtrack matters as much as the writing of the movie itself. Music, special effects, costumes, etcetera...all come second, and should only serve to compliment the writing. If you really get down to it, a movie is just storytelling, storytelling using a film projector. The reason most films often suck (especially those controlled by studio executives) is when the story as second only to effects, or marketing, or product-tie ins or whatever . I won't mention any films that follow that mold, but one that comes to mind rhymes with "Fodzilla."

Since Mr. Adams seems to have a lot of creative control in this picture, and a strong interest in having the story told, I don't think we have anything to worry about with this movie. So, stop worrying, and turn your attention to something else, like how Windows 2000 might as well be named Windows 2001, or 2002, or 2037, or....
