I do agree with this in most cases like music, movies, stereo, books, or actually almost anything other than personal computers, because while it doesn't actually represent the quality in itself, it makes windows a much better choice.
Developers (especially the small ones) will in almost all cases develop things for the windows platform because they think "almost everyone is using windows, so theres a much bigger market"

Ofcourse, as you pointed out, this debate should never have been started ,but i couldn't help it either
