Did anyone see the old TV series of Hitchhikers that they made years ago? Being an obsessive DNA fan I bought the videos and...it was a bit disappointing. More hits than misses, and the acting was too camp. The reason I'm posting this is that the movie needs to examine this version if it wants to get it right - personally, I'd like the movie to look really high-tech and serious, so that the surreal things that happen look even weirder and funnier. No camp acting (except for Zaphod, who needs to be as campy and cool as possible...so hip he doesn't have a pelvis) and a tighter plot. I love Hitchhikers, but I'm worried that the movie could go wrong so easily///
