Subject: Don't be too hard on it. ( 3 of 14 )

If I hadn't seen the TV series, I probably never would have known about the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I'll admit that it doesn't compare with the books, but it was good enough to make me want to buy the books. As far as the radio series goes, I've never had the oppurtunity to hear it. In the U.S., radio serials lost popularity when TV became widely available. It's sort of a lost art form here. It's recently been revived though, by the SciFi Channel' Seeing Ear Theater which is creating many original scripts which are performed, but not acted, on stage in front of a live audience. It's sort of a strange TV-Radio hybrid, but it's interesting. If you'd like to hear any of them, they're available on Real Audio from the SciFi's web site. The address is www.scifi.com/set. Real Audio does work with Macs doesn't it?
