Whilst I accept that for a film to be successful in the US, people want some americans in it, Arthur MUST be english. He's just too quirky for an American... And PLEASE no americans pretending to be English. It might seem convincing to you guys, but when it gets over here, it's so terribly embarassing to watch people humiliate themselves so badly. If I were casting for Arthur Dent I'd choose... erm... I don't know actually... but anyway, someone English!
