So those of us who have been taught "how to think" are, it seems, at an advantage when it comes to matters such as this.

But what if "how we think" is fundamentally wrong? What if the scientific method leads us astray? What if there is yet another "way to think" that is better, and would give us all the answers we ever wanted?

I have my own answer, but I'd be interested in other people's thoughts.
