Attacks on pregnant virgins are attacks on religion, not God.

Conceptualizing God as a man on the sky sitting on a big throne is silly.

Belief in God doesn't imply belief in an afterlife.

If God exists, and I think He does, then He's beyond our understanding. And He's not a "He". And He's not an "angry God" or a "jealous God". And even if we were offered proof of His existence, we wouldn't necessarily recognize it as such.

I believe as the Deists did. Like Tom Jefferson. God started the universe off, and then he retired. And he doesn't interfere in our affairs. He just watches from afar.
