Loook, the big issue isn't wheather or not Nader can win it's that the united states of america NEEDS a viable third party. The reform party has been split, and no other party is really rallying votes. A vote for Ralph Nader isn't a vote for Bush, it's a wake up call to a political system that's run by big buisiness and special interest groups. We don't need oil vs. technology (refering to the canidates Bush and Gore) we need change! A good example is the debates, no third party canidates were there, WHY? Because the american presidential debate organization (I probably have the name wrong bare with me)doesn't see fit t oinclude other ideas that could actually change things or make sense! This is a problem, we needed people like Nader and the libertarian canidate at these things so people know that there are other choices besides donkeys and elephants. We need a canidate to step up to the plate and give us some real improvements, we need people to vote for third parties so that they get matching government funds. Nader may not win this year, but if the greens can get their 5% of the vote, then they'll be a force to be reckoned with.
